Anti-tTG Ab-positive subjected anti-endomysial (AEA) testing duodenal biopsy examination. Liver biopsies corresponding IgA/anti-tTG colocalization studies immunohistochemistry. Results: Seventy-two Of them, 9 had anti-tTG Ab positive suggesting seroprevalence 12.5%. Most these strongly (mean fold rise 22 times above upper limit normal). Duodenal showed villous abnormalities modified Marsh grade 3 7 them be 9.7%. AEA 6 having abnormalities. duodenum demonstrable respectively. started gluten-free diet (GFD) being followed.
